Back to Basics! In CrossFit Kids we teach children how to run, throw, crawl, balance and move!
CrossFit is "a core strength and conditioning programme which is designed around Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements."
In Crossfit Kids the athletes are split into preschool (3-5yrs), kids (5-12yrs) and teens (12-17yrs). We have had quite a bit of interest from the kids age group and now we are approaching local schools and sports club with the hope to target teen athletes that would like to be involved in a strength and conditioning programme to compliment their chosen sport.
What is CrossFit Kids?
It is a functional movement programme combining gymnastics, body weight exercises and weightlifting elements. We focus on teaching children and teens efficient mechanics and creating a broad athletic foundation while encouraging balance and spatial awareness.
CrossFit Kids provides an opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to maximise their physical skills during years of peak development.
