This family holiday home is in a very pretty part of Southern Normandy, between Domfront and Mortain, surrounded by pretty orchards and farmland full of Normandy cows. It is a lovely place to spend a week with family and friends in a very safe environment which is also easy to get to. Basically you pack a car and take the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen or St Malo and drive down. It’s about 1.15 hours from both ports. If you take an overnight ferry you can be at the property by 10.30 am.

The Farmhouse - 5 bedrooms and an enormous building with huge sitting room, big dining room, kitchen, utility, boot room, 3 bathrooms (one en suite). The master bedroom is massive and has a four poster bed.

There is a big back garden with pond, front garden which is an orchard and a communal outdoor seating area in the middle. There’s also a shed for BBQs and bikes and a big parking area.
It’s a great place for a big group holiday as you can sleep 20 in beds and also large families who want a bit of privacy (each takes one building). It’s perfect for families with children as there’s plenty to do in the area within an easy drive and you don’t have to spend hours travelling down expensive motorways to get there!
