Small charity looking for a part-time Finance Manager/Book-keeper

Book-keeper /Finance Manager required for Educational Charity and Not-for-Profit Clinic, SW15 London – 2 days a month

Food for the Brain (www.foodforthebrain.org), a small educational charity focused on nutrition for mental health and its not-for-profit clinic, the Brain Bio Centre, are looking for a self-employed Book-keeper / Finance Manager to solely take charge of the finance function for both companies.

Both organisations are based in Putney, South-West London and ideally you would be available 2 days a month, preferably on a Tuesday but this is negotiable, where the work of each will be split. The charity/clinic are able to pay a rate of up to £200 a day on-going.

Knowledge of Quickbooks would be a plus as would charity/not-for-profit finance experience.

Duties Include:

- Bank / Credit Reconciliations

- Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Payroll / Pension Management

- Supplier Payments

- Invoicing

- Monthly / Quarterly Management Accounts Preparation.

- Medical sales reconciliations to bank.

- Chasing past due payments

You will be working directly with the Managing Director / Manager with each company. This role is ideal for someone who already has a few freelance contracts and can work on their own with little support from management.
