Kew House and/or other non academic schools

Postby Mummytofourboys » Sun Apr 28, 2024 5:08 pm

Afternoon all,

I need help to source any non academic private schools in London within easy-ish reach from Clapham.

I had my heart set on Kew House but am hearing a lot of parents complaining lately as the fees do not match the facilities, teaching or support on offer.

Any suggestions for schools or updates on Kew House would be very much appreciated. We are not from London so are finding things quote brutal to navigate.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi
I haven’t any suggestions, sorry.. we are in a a very similar position!! It’s a minefield
I have discovered a schools consultant who I thought was absolutely brilliant
Her name is Mel Wilde and her business name is the educated parent. She has a Facebook
Page.. there’s also Mel Ingle but she’s mush more expensive
Affordable, knowledgeable and approachable
Good luck!

London Park Schools, Clapham

A new school, but could very well tick your boxes?

Broomwood (Boys Prep), formerly known as Northcote Lodge

May also be suitable as the school goes up to 13, depending on your boys' ages and future plans in Year 9 and beyond.

Good luck!

ESB Consulting.

Have you thought of Hall School Wimbledon? It is a non-selective co-educational option in Wimbledon.

There is an open day on 11th May 2024  (9.30am - 12pm) which would offer the opportunity to visit the school

Here's the link to book onto the open day: https://hsw.co.uk/admissions/open-day-registration/
