“Should my working husband do 11pm feed?” “I keep crying, is something wrong with me?” Weekly au-pair food allowance, how much £?

Last Updated on : 26th August 2014

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

“What has tennis got to do with running the country?”

“Errr I’m not sure, why?”

My daughter and I were in the kitchen and she was reading a children’s newspaper which we’ve had on subscription for years but I’ve never seen her pick up before. I made a mental note to check the WiFi wasn’t broken.

“It says here that this tennis player who was good in the olden days wants to be Prime Minister.”

I looked at the article, it had a picture of Boris Johnson and some comment about him standing as an MP in the next election.

“He’s not a tennis player darling he’s a politician,” was all I could manage before the penny dropped, “you’re not thinking of Boris Becker are you?”

“No, I’ve never heard him but we saw this man,” she tapped Boris Johnson “when they were doing all the old winners of Wimbledon.”

“So I don’t think he’ll make a very good prime minister and I suggest you don’t vote for him.”

And with that declaration she wandered off and I’m still not entirely sure what she was talking about.

Here’s what you’ve been talking about on NappyValleyNet (Wandsworth):
