A2 results August 2016
As Emanuel parents will know, and in conjunction with around 50 other HMC schools including Eton and St Paul’s, we choose not to submit our public examination results to the national press in August. But our results have been submitted to the Department of Education and will appear in the Government league tables (published in November).
In the meantime we realise that parents want to know how Emanuel is performing academically. So here are the key facts which you need to know about this year’s exam results at A2 and, on page 2, there is a detailed breakdown of the grades by subject.
A2 results 2016
1. 85.6% of the A2 grades obtained by Emanuel students this year were graded at A* – C
2. 14 students out of 80 scored AAA – A*A*A* (17% of the year group) with 38.9% of grades at A or A*
A full list of grades for every department are listed on the next page. Please interpret the results with care: with small numbers there can be sizeable variations from year to year (and you can see this if you compare this year’s results with those from 2015). Also some grades will change following remarks. So this is basically a snapshot of the situation as of 18th August 2016.
