Whether you’re on half term yet or not, I’m sure we’re all agreed that Halloween is the name of the game this week! Big or small, teen or tiny, they all love it, from the decorations to deck the halls to the ghoulish get-ups they put on to go and spook the neighbours. Be sure to stock up in anticipation of ghosts, pumpkins, witches and spiders creeping and crawling from door-to-friendly-door. As ever, there’s so much on offer locally. Lots of different tricks and treats on offer – you’ll have a scream!
Gambado will have them getting crafty on 28th with their Halloween Bats Puppet Craft Class followed by some time in soft play – what’s not to love?…click here for details
And on both 30th and 31st (due to popular demand), Gambado is hosting their 6th annual Halloween Spooktacular party from 6-8pm which will be sure to meet all their fun and freaky requirements!…click here for details
Make it a trip to Battersea Park Zoo with a difference on 31st with face-painting, trick or treat bag-designing and witchy story-telling. And lots of really sweet animals around. Or are those fangs..?…click here for details
And Eddie Catz in both Putney and Wimbledon promise to dim the lights for a spookishly spectacular Halloween Party on 30th with magic, balloons, disco dancing and a fancy dress catwalk. Go strut your stuff!…click here for details
It’s the NCT Halloween Party at The Little Gym on 31st. Free play for children under 3, face painting, photography and a fancy dress competition. Get your outfits planned. Think cute and garish – that should do the trick!…click here for details
Spooktacular Baking and Craft Halloween Workshop will have them monster cupcake decorating and zombie marshmallow making. Let your little pumpkins loose on all that sticky fun (in someone else’s kitchen!) …click here for details

The spectacular show is on, as ever, at Battersea Park on 8th November with gates opening at 6pm and the fireworks at 8pm. Tickets in advance are a must!…click here for details
Wimbledon Park will be running two shows on Wednesday 5th, and the first is perfect for the little ones, starting at 6.45pm with the theme of ‘Ice and Magic’. Wonder if ‘Frozen’ will be playing a part..!? …click here for details
And Morden Park will be running the same programme as Wimbledon but on Saturday 1st instead. The version for the grown-ups with a start time of 8.30pm is a ‘Salute to Services’ which sounds like it will be suitably rousing……click here for details
With no firework display on Clapham Common this year it’s again the turn of Brockwell Park to host Lambeth’s display, and as well as the bonfire and fireworks there’ll be food, bars, craft stalls and lots of entertainment. Sounds like fun!…click here for details
Bishops Park fireworks on 7th November promise to be a ‘Blast from Outer Space’ with a children’s display at 7.15 followed by the main spectacle at 8(ish). Sounds like it’ll be out of this world!…click here for details
