Father’s Day fun, Open Square Gardens Weekend and Let’s Act Summer Club: Your What’s On guide from NappyValleyNet

Last Updated on : 16th June 2016

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Welcome to your weekly What’s On activity guide from NappyValleyNet!

It was another busy buzzy day down on Northcote Road.  The sun was shining, the rain was falling.  Summer in the city and the air was still.  Except it wasn’t.  It was filled with the happy chitter chatter of neighbours sitting in roads normally reserved for cars, bikes and deliveries.  The sounds of fiercely fought ping pong, cricket and street football rung out; the joy of being able to run around in the middle of the road.  Friends, neighbours and never-before-met locals tucking into cakes, BBQs and beer together, all under bunting-strewn street lights and watched over by cardboard cut-outs of our Maj, peering out from many a Victorian ‘Between the Commons’ sash.  Whichever way you turned, there was a celebration in full swing.  And there’s more.  The street parties aren’t over yet.  And neither are the constant stream of classes, events, fundraisers and culture overflowing from our What’s On pages. Keep ’em coming! (click here)

Thinking of a move?  Make good use of our property pages which we bring to you with PrimeLocation and four local estate agents, so you can find all the property for sale or to rent in the area together with school catchments all mapped out.  With just a few clicks you can see what’s available near to the school at the top of your list.
