Thank you Tootsweep, I jolly well will! Will you be going on the march? (I know it's a long way away). If so, please do come with us, if you'd like. Either way Merry Christmas to you and yours :D

For once Denwand it seems we agree on something! You’re right, these little spats aren’t terribly edifying but if PS will persist in making unprovoked attacks on people, she can quite rightly expect to face some criticism. They do however have the side benefit of ensuring that many more people see the post, which I’m not too unhappy about. :P
It’s also important to call out nonsense masquerading as fact. I’m sure that brexiteers would be delighted for remain voters to all believe it’s a done deal and stop campaigning but it’s simply not true and many of us will persist in doing anything we can to avert it.
And PS, I only mention how happy I am as a result of your deeply annoying & repeated demands (that you have no right to make) that I ‘get a life, ‘move on’ or focus on my business, I’ll do whatever I like thanks! Also I’m afraid in my view you come across on NVN as a rather miserable and bitter individual.
It’ll be no surprise that I find your views abhorrent, so I have zero wish to DM you (it makes me feel a bit eeew that I even have to share a postcode with you), but how about you post something on this thread to show who you are? I am after all, completely transparent on here, about my business, family, career everything…
Go on, post your linked in profile or a blog or whatever, so we can see who you are and what your agenda really is. I expect you’ll be far too embarrassed to do that and you’d much prefer to cower behind your nom de plume, but you might surprise me I suppose.
Whatever your reasons for voting leave, DON’T even try and silence me or anyone else on this site who thinks Brexit’s an insane, self-harming disaster. We are both entitled to our views and entitled to share them on this forum.
So that’s that wrapped up, you can have your truce Denwand until the struggle resumes on Boxing Day
Wishing all the pleasant, tolerant folk here on Nappy Valley Net a super Christmas with your families and best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous new year. :D
Thank you and Merry Christmas to Annabel and her team too, all the best for 2018.

oh groan, Guy Dorrell, I come back after Christmas to see what's been going on in NV only to find you are still trying to beat me into submission because I have committed the criminal offence of disagreeing with you. You are acting like the worst sort of bully and in a group you are like the leader of a lynch-mob. That sort of bullying just makes my resolve stronger to challenge you.

Contrary to how you are trying to paint me, I am an optimistic person, which is why I see a great future for GB outside the EU. Get your head out of the Guardian and read all about it.

Take my advice, get out of Earlsfield and speak to the many decent people who voted out. Stop demonising people who don't agree with you. Stop posting pictures of your daughters smiling to prove that you are a happy person. That's pretty sad and they are too young to have consented.

And what's, what's with your immature "it makes me feel a bit eeew that I even have to share a postcode with you". :? (I live in a different bit on NV anyway) Grow up, you are the father of girls and they need a good male role-model, not a cry-baby or a bully.

Guy,

Keep posting. I always enjoy reading your post. Also out of interest, would you be willing to share the potential positives/negatives of Brexit in your business line. I still feel we do not have enough information on the impact of Brexit on small business and will be very interested to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Many thanks

What is staggering about the Brexit dilemma is that even if it is reversed, there is a vast chasm that has opened between the English and expat residents/dual nationalities. It will take ages to put the genie back in the bottle. Expats are generally shocked that the English attribute to themselves London's rise to the most prominent global city, where expats largely believe that the rule of law, English language, time zone, ability for the super wealthy to launder money/pay no taxes and the increased international populace should receive far greater attribution. Expats look at post Brexit London as incredibly parochial, where their minority status is sneered at, independent of how one voted. Sorry chaps. Pip pip.

Thank you Windmill, hope you had a great time with your family and Happy New Year. :D
Oh PS, you’re plumbing new depths – you’re perfectly entitled to your opinion, and to express it on here, what you’re not entitled to do is make repeated unwarranted, unprovoked and unpleasant attacks on people. I am not bullying or demonising anyone and most sensible people reading this thread will see the truth of that - attempting to paint yourself as a victim as you are, is rather pitiful.
And this is important, stop mentioning my family, not at all. I’m not happy about it and will see what admin’s view is if you persist. I posted a pic because we were AT A MARCH. However, I am very grateful to you for ‘challenging’ me because the post is nearly at the top of the most read list, so thank you, perhaps we can keep it there until the march in June. ;)
Oh and PS, you seem to have conveniently ignored a para in my post about WHO YOU ARE! If you are going to make unprovoked attacks on people on here then, in a community like this, we at least have the right to know who you are, no?
So are you prepared to reveal yourself? I doubt it, though to be honest, after some of the stuff you’ve put on here I’d be ashamed and embarrassed to reveal my identity too - so what is it? transparency or concealment?

Thanks Newbie 38, will pm you my number and thanks Phil, I'd like to find out more of your thoughts when you have a sec, will come back to you, would you be happy to be interviewed for a radio doc?

Hope everyone wasn't too traumatised going back to work today, best wises to you all for 2018. Pic attached is the one I sent my fam this Xmas, hope it makes you smile on this somewhat miserable, rainy day :D xxx

I think when Junkers says we're going and they (the EU) need to plan for it, you can take we're going. The Federalists in the EU want to push on in a direction the UK would never have agreed to. We are going and nothing I've read from any source suggests anything to the contrary. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/ ... commission
