Help finding a good tutor

Postby Twotoothbrushes » Mon Jan 15, 2018 11:55 am

I live in Balham and am looking for a good tutor for my daughter who is doing the 11+ later this year. She is bright and hardworking but lacks confidence so we need someone who is patient. I think we probably need maths more than anything but could do with some advice as well as just a tutor. Thanks.

Hi Twotoothbrushes

We've always used London Home Tutors, I think they're based in Balham. They have
qualified teachers rather than students and have sent us some really good tutorsover the years

They're all DBS checked etc..

Hi,

I have used PASS Tutors in the past. They are based in Wandsworth/Balham. My daughter attended their 11+ workshops, she came on so much both academically and in confidence. We were delighted when she gained a place at our chosen school. I believe they also do one-to-one tutoring and offer an advisory service.

They were very professional and friendly.

Hope that's helpful!

We have used Kings Tutors for our two children and their tutors have been a success to date.

Hello :)

I run a small tutoring agency. I personally have 100% success rate at getting all children I’ve taught into one of their top choices of schools. We do one-to-one tuition and revision courses (we have one in the Easter holiday and one over the summer).

I also work with a brilliant school consultant who can advise and help with the exam application process. Our school consultant is Charlotte Faber, the ex head mistress of Garden House.

Drop me an email and then we can arrange a chat on the phone.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Charlotte.
