Our amazing nanny is looking for a 3 day a week role - Balham/Clapham South

Postby wonkymonkey » Mon Feb 12, 2018 4:16 pm

Now that our youngest is starting pre-school, our amazing nanny will be looking for a three day a week role from 10th May. She will continue to work with us one day a week but I'm flexible on which day that is as I run my own business.

She has worked with us since our daughter was 20 months old and our son was 7 weeks old and they're now almost four and almost 2.5 years. She is nurturing, loving, kind, fun, patient, fair with discipline and has bags of common sense. She also has impeccable English. She is so good that a mum posted on Balham Mum's Network to say she had seen a fantastic nanny who was really engaged with the two children she was playing with in the playground and wanted to post about it as whoever's nanny she was had "hit the jackpot".

Our children love her and we're very pleased she wants to stay with us one day a week. Her very strong preference (might even be a "must have", not sure) is that the three days are consecutive so that she's not jumping from one family to the next every day. She would also like to be in Balham or Clapham South as she knows the area and the commute works well.

If you would like her details, please let me know.

Thanks for this recommendation. Do you think your nanny would be interested in a four day role? We are looking for someone to start in late May. I’d love her details if she could be interested in four rather than three days.
Thanks

Hello

I was wondering whether your nanny would consider Barnes? We are currently looking for a nanny for our 1 year old daughter, three days a week - Mon-Weds 8am-pm.

Please let me know if this might be of interest!

Thanks

Hi and thanks to Rosey and Fenella for your interest. Our nanny works for another family one day a week so she can only take on a three day a week job. Barnes doesn't work for her unfortunately due to the commute.

Also to say she would be able to Clapham generally so Clapham Junction included.

Hi,

I have a friend who lives in Balham who is in the market for a 3 day nanny for her little boy. How do I put her in touch with your nanny?

Thanks x

I am looking for after school Mon, Tues, Wed 3.45-7 term time with 3 full days during holidays which is about half the time. We are Clapham South. If your nanny was interested but the term time hours were not enough we would happily make the Monday a full day if that helps. Looking for end of March start if possible but v happy to be flexible with way.

Thanks for everyone's enquiries:
- NatalieW - I'm afraid Earlsfield doesn't work for her
- Makeitadouble - I've private messaged you with my details so please do let me know if you don't receive it
- EFEJ - I'm not sure that will work but haven't had a chance to ask her yet. Will let you know as soon as I have checked!

Thanks.

EFEJ - I've checked with our nanny and unfortunately it's not enough hours for her even with the Monday full day during term time.
Thanks.
