Boycott Uber for one day

I see a lot of Ubers in around SW11/12/18

Seems like a good idea if it means they get paid more

Re: Trinity Fields Fireworks

Goldhawk is absolutely right BUT you can book a table at the Indian Ocean and stand outside with a drink watching 90% of the show.

I know some people who do this but it does feel a bit “NFI”!

Re: Mid term entry into nursery / cancellation policy

Hmmm it depends.

It could be that you have to give notice for one term i.e. the soonest you can cancel is at the end of next term but I'd be surprised.

Re: Pregnancy gift

I think it depends on the person.

Some people almost want to pretend they’re not pregnant so want fun stuff like they’d usually have (night out, pampering etc) others just want to sit quietly and be left alone to vomit. In which case practical help is a god send.

Not sure if I have helped!

Re: Central London restaurant recommendations needed!

The Ivy used to be a good bet too - always good for star spotting - but I think it's gone off the boil a bit in terms of being special since they opened so many branches.
I so so so agree.

Used to be special now it feels like a Jamie's Italian

Re: Parkgate to Eaton House

Parkgate is kinder, more nurturing and much much smaller. Not just physically but it has a small school feel. Quieter children a...
