Re: Child's strabismus - recommended hospitals

That's great you didn't have to wait and that you wouldn't have minded if you had but you're an adult. My son was 2! And it wasn't just cosmetic. His eyes were spinning around because they couldn't focus so he couldn't see!

Re: The Chicken Shop!

Northcote patisserie didn't renew as the landlord was demanding a substantial rent increase. Very sad for Manuel and Kim

Re: Child's strabismus - recommended hospitals

Hi My son was diagnosed aged 2. We were referred to st George's but weren't offered an appointment for 6 months so we went private and saw graham Thompson at parkside who was great. After a year out insurance won't pay any more so we got referred to st George's where we still see graham Thompson. On...

Re: Adhoc nanny mon/tues and fri

Caroline has babysat for me for several years and is always reliable and punctual. She looks after several children during the day and I frequently run into her when she is taking them to playgroups, parks, the library etc. The children are always happy and well cared for and she is very well inform...

Affordable local hairdresser

Can anyone please recommend an affordable local hairdresser for colour and cut? I've used Craig at Edward James for years (and loved him) but now he's left I feel it's time for a change especially as I can no longer afford to spend so much.

Thank you

Re: pregnant, looking for a PT on Saturday mornings

Try http://thetrainstationgym.co.uk/

I used to have PT sessions with one of the owners, James Cash, and he saw me through my first pregnancy.

After you have your baby they run a class called yummy mummies that you can take your baby to

Good luck!

I love Northcote Patisserie!

Having just posted about a disappointing local business I thought I should sing the praises of a great one - something that doesn't get done enough. I love Northcote Patisserie. It's equally good for stopping off by myself or for a meal with the children when I don't want to cook. The owners are lov...

Avoid confidental clinic, St John's road

I've been a patient at the confidental clinic (used to be dental arts studio) on St John's road for 5 years. I've had a few problems with the receptionists over the years but have stayed as I liked the dentist and hygienist. Unfortunately today I was totally ripped off so just wanted to warn others ...

Re: Experience quilified nanny avalible 2/3days clapham/Nortecote rd area

I would definitely recommend Caroline too. She's babysat for me for 2.5 years and is punctual and reliable. I run into her a lot during the day as she's always put and about taking children to playgroups and parks.

Please PM me if you need more

Re: Stasi service at local restaurant

Following hollamumma's glowing recommendation I went to Tamra today. It was lovely

Incidentally, they appear to be very generous with their apple!

Re: Stasi service at local restaurant

OP you sound familiar. Did your username used to be calsmumsilly or something similar? The one who posted some highly offensive things about children with disabilities?

Re: Did you get your first choice 2016 primary school?

Every year there are a lot of comments on this forum suggesting that lots of people play the system and anyone who goes to Honeywell or Belleville lives miles away. I really don't think the problem is as widespread as people think. There are a huge amount of children around here - it's not called na...
