Re: Think my husband is being unfaithful for second time

I'm really sorry to read this, I won't try to judge your situation but I think sometimes it helps to hear someone else's story... This sounds very similar to my life a few years ago except that it was only 3 years between affairs. During that time I nearly went mad with suspicion, not knowing whethe...

Re: Thomas' Parents please don't park on street corners

It’s not just a problem at Thomas’s although more understandable why younger children are driven to school. The chaos outside Emmanuel morning and afternoon is unbelievable, cars just stopping in the road on red or zigzag lines for teenagers to jump out without checking for pedestrians, cars turning...

Re: Vasectomy / the snip - anyone’s husband had one and able to say how they found it?

I too am unable to take hormonal contraception and my husband was adamant 2 children was enough and despite being dare I say it on the more wimpy side, took himself off for the day procedure. Another friend had a general at the same sort of time. Recovery was similar for both, swelling, soreness, un...

Re: when is the best time to tell the children we are splitting up?

Firstly I’m sorry you are going through this, my husband and I split 18m ago and are still working out the divorce but I believe we’ve done a pretty good job of putting the children first as much as they can possibly understand (5 and 6). I hear what others are saying about not ‘ruining’ Christmas b...

Re: Toddler's first shoes - Northcote Road / Clapham?

I highly recommend Cece and me. Sam is lovely and definitely the best shoe fitter for little people in the area and has a great selection. She does various pop ups or you can make an appointment at her house or yours. https://www.ceceandme.co.uk/

Re: Looking for baby shoe shop

I would also highly recommend Sam at CeCe and me, she’s lovely and when you compare how she measures the foot to some stores you know you’re in safe hands. You can visit her at her home in Southfields, small fee for her to come to your house or go along to one of her pop ups.

Holidays for single parents

As I find myself newly single at the start of the long summer holidays, in amongst everything else I am panicking about what to do for my children. We have a 2 week villa holiday booked and can’t get much money back but I don’t think it’s that practical for me to take two very young children to a vi...

Rejecting a new car

Having bought a brand new and not inexpensive SUV in August for cash it has now had multiple faults and spent so much time in the garage out of use and often without a courtesy car. I have had enough and discovered yesterday that it is still possible to hand it back to the Audi dealership up until 6...

Broomwood or Thomas's Clapham

Hello and apologies for a topic that has been discussed before but it was a few years ago and I cannot see a more recent thread. We are in a fortunate position of having a choice between Broomwood Hall and Thomas's Clapham for our first son. We found out this weekend and two days later I don't know ...

Re: Broomwood - parents opinions please

Interesting that everyone is talking experience with their girls. We are looking at it for our boys, do you consider it more of a girls' school?
