You could try Lenny @ Hamilton Walters

They are small/medium sized company but extremely skilled. There isn't anything they can't do and I have asked them to do some serious joinery at my place ontop of the double extension they were instructed for. I got their details from the EDF, they have been recommended on there loads.

I am more than happy with the results and will def use them again. They were the cheapest out of 3 quotes I received. Usually you should never go with the cheapest, you go with the middle quote but I visited a project they were working on at the time to view their work and was satisfied with what they could do.

Hi everyone, we've just bought a house in Putney and planning to do refurbishment. The amount of work is not huge but there's quite a bit to do: get rid of a couple of partition walls; re-plumbing and re-wiring; installing underfloor heating; re-painting, and few minor things.
We have had a few builders coming but they are either a one man band and hence unreliable, or too big companies which charge too much.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend builder firms who are, i suppose, medium size, tried and tested, have a head man to oversee everything, and importantly don't cost the earth.
Will be very grateful for the contacts.
