When my children were small I employed some wonderful au pairs. Some of them had never cooked before, some of them cooked fabulous meals from their own culture, but unfortunately not what my little ones wanted to eat. I therefore spent lots of time teaching them to cook toddler friendly food - simple pasta sauces, sweet potato wedges, chicken pieces coated in bread and parmesan, little fish dishes, a simple but delicious bolognaise, a white sauce, omelette etc. It was during those times that I thought what fun it would be teach other au pairs to cook for their families....and so along came Emma's Kitchen - a cooking school in my home on Broomwood Road. I have got one of those classes happening tomorrow afternoon from 12.30 - 3pm. If you have an au pair who wold like to join us, do please get in touch. My mobile is 07941 260740.
