Balham Waitrose PIN scam on BBC. Husband lying about business trip: getting tattoo! When can children be left “home alone” in the summer holidays?

Last Updated on : 25th July 2016

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Last week HoneywellHoney posted about her husband who is desperate to get a tattoo.

And HoneywellHoney really really doesn’t want him to.

Then, to make matters worse, she discovered he was going to be “inked” whilst pretending he was on a European business trip, whilst actually staying in London.

“HH” would love your advice but please, as I’ve mentioned before, do remember whilst replying that this is a real person with a very dilemma.

Here is the rest of what you’ve been talking about on NappyValleyNet:

weekly1You may remember PetrolHead’s post from early July. She was caught drink driving with a child in the car and, I have to say, the NVN community has been wonderfully supportive. PetrolHead has posted an update – it looks like there might, finally, be light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck PH! (click here).

AN also needs advice but regarding her partner’s daughter. She’s still in nappies at four, uses a dummy and is about to start reception in September. Should she call social services? (click here)

A shocking piece of news on the BBC about a poor lady in Balham. Crooks spied her PIN whilst she was tapping it in Waitrose and stole £21k (click here).

SMM wonders how to get to Mayfield Gymnastics? I don’t suppose you could ride there on a wooden horse? Oh alright that wasn’t very helpful of me, so if you do know please post! (click here)

weekly1BB’s little one is terrified of public loos. It’s causing huge issues when they go out and her potty training has regressed. Any ideas what might help? (click here).
