Last year we published and printed our very first NappyValleyNet Schools Guide.
Packed full of information on local schools, opens days and application procedures it was a huge success and (as a movie voice-over person might say) is now back by popular demand.
As a result the brand new 2016/17 guide should be landing on your doormats over the next few days.
If you don’t receive a copy (we ask our distributors to respect no junk mail signs) then just drop me an email and I’ll pop one in the post.
We hope you find it useful and, as always, we’d love your feedback and thoughts as to how we might improve future editions.
Here is what you’ve been discussing this week about on NappyValleyNet:
Sticking with schools, August may be the month of beaches and barbecues but it’s also when GCSE and A Level results are published. We’ve rounded up as many local school’s results as we could find. Congratulations to all involved! (click here).
And still sticking with schools, in spite of some Southern Rail shenanigans the “Balham Bullet” is back! Well done to everyone who circulated the petition! (click here).

I really hope we can help with this question: MSW11 has had two difficult births and is considering a VBAC 2 or elective caesrian. Any suggestions on both approach and hospitals? (click here)
Starting school can be really stressful. And that’s just for the parents! On a serious note our friends at Role Models have announced a series of Confidence and Resilience courses to help children get the most from these new starts (click here)

Short transfer times, hot tubs, scenic views and a roaring log fire are on the list of preferred requirements. Wow, that is ONE choosy baby! Ah, OK that’s the PARENTS wish-list! (click here) We’ve had a heap of suggestions for holiday destinations for a single mum and her two year old (click here) and I couldn’t agree more about Mark Warner. We’ve just come back from Levante and there were a number of single parents there. Lastly Spannar would love your Bangor accommodation suggestions? (click here).
