Recycling is a great way to clear out clutter, help other local mums and to save the planet. Actually, I think those benefits are in the wrong order, decluttering should come after saving the planet but you get my drift!

To make this work well for everyone please can we all follow a few rules...

1. Nothing is too small for local recycling. Unused nappies, old dvd's, school uniforms, football boots anything that you feel has "life" left in it is perfect for this scheme!
2. If you're giving items away, please try and describe them as fully as possible. You can post photos if you'd like, its all free of charge.
3. Because you're giving items away you are well within your rights to dictate when you would like them picked up, just be clear!
4. Do not ask for any money, EVER, this is recycling not ebay!
5. If you're picking up an item, stick to the time you've agreed. No shows are incredibly rude. Do not be surprised to be named and shamed if you are a habitual no-shower.
6. Once you have picked up an item please go to the listing of the item on NappyValleyNet and reply saying "Item picked up - thanks". You know the sort of thing we mean. It closes the thread and shows people that recycling works!
