Gynaecologist recommendations please!

Postby pigeonairre » Thu Apr 03, 2014 11:30 am

Hi all,

Please could someone recommend a private gynaecologist in london? Not for fertility problems, more just general gynaecological issues. There are so many and it's quite expensive, so I would like a nod in the right direction please.
I have been put on a waiting list for nhs, which I am bypassing and going private.

Thank you x

Not a gynaecologist but covering an area that most medical staff wrongly assume women, and men, can do nothing about, and that is pelvic floor issues.

Antony Davis - I've seen him at London Bridge Hospital but I think he works elsewhere too. I've had two surgical procedures with him and recommended a friend to him. She has also been happy.

Robert Richardson at the Lister Hospital... He's no nonsense and great. Had one surgical procedure with him last year and feel like I owe him a lot.

Jane Bridges at Wimbledon park side. Have seen her for years, had a procedure with her, and can't recommend her enough.

Raef Faris at Lister. He does both general gynae and fertility. I had an operation with him (not fertility related) and was very happy with the care I received.

Hi there,

I really really recommend Dr Demetri Panayi at The London Women's Centre if you're looking for an amazing gynaecologist in London. I'm not sure what you need gyno for, but I personally had some childbirth injuries after the birth of my second, inclouding prolapse which was embarrassing and uncomfortable. This is one of his many specialities and I was supported throughout the process - it may be a little pricey but 100% worth it to feel healthy and not have to wait for ages for NHS. Good luck x
