St Annes Primary school any good?

Postby Home Grown » Thu Mar 17, 2011 5:26 pm

My daughter has been offered a place at St Anne's Primary school for a nursery place. As we recently moved I never got to look at the School before putting in my application. I can now only go to see the school after the closing date for my reply. Anyone know what it's like as a School? Thanks

Hi,
Did you ever hear anything back regarding St Annes school? Curious is you are liking it for your daughter.
Thanks

I don't have first hand experience of St Anne's, but have a good friend with children at the school, and it definitely appears to be 'on the up'.

St Anne's has a relatively new Head, Lesley Steward, who has turned the school around and the 2013 Osted report is 'Good'.

Hello - I have been offered a full time nursery place for my oldest at both st Anne Primary and St Joseph Primary ( Catholic school). Any insight would be gratefully received.

I have a child at St Anne's and am very happy. It's a small, friendly school and the staff are very committed and enthusiastic. My child is doing well and loves the school. They are very welcoming to parents and there is generally a nice community atmosphere.

Hopefully someone else can help about St Joseph's.
