Postby Mandygb » Wed Jan 18, 2017 1:28 pm

Children have a lot to contend with these days and as a result may sometimes feel overwhelmed or lack confidence. Specialist Childcare and Education Provider Role Models, aims to nurture children and teach them how to push outside of their comfort zones and to thrive. Building confidence and resilience, their highly acclaimed life skills courses are aimed at children aged 8 -12 years and are held at various venues in London.

The next upcoming courses include a Confidence and Resilience Taster Day on February 13th, and week-long Confidence and Resilience courses during the Easter holidays. We would advise booking early to avoid disappointment, as places fill up fast.

Confidence & Resilience Taster Day – Monday, 13th February 2017 (10am – 3pm)

This Taster Day is a one-day course specially designed for children ages 8 - 9 and ages 10 -12. It will take place at Chelsea Academy School, Lots Road, SW10 0AB. Price is £62.50 +VAT with lunch included. Childcare vouchers are accepted and Role Models offer a £12 discount for each friend or sibling who attends.

Easter 2017 Confidence & Resilience Courses – Monday, 3rd April – Friday, 7th April 2017 (10am – 3pm)

• Ages 8 - 9 and ages 10 - 12 at Chelsea Academy School, Lots Road, SW10 0AB
• Ages 8 - 9 and ages 10 - 12 at KCS Wimbledon, Wimbledon Common, SW19 4TT

The course is £390 +VAT with lunch included. Childcare vouchers are accepted at Chelsea Academy School only. Role Models offer a £60 discount for each friend or sibling who attends.

The courses have been influenced by extensive feedback and research from Head Teachers at leading London primary & secondary schools, and are designed to help build and develop children’s character in a fun, action-packed, pressure-free environment. The week-long courses involve a series of engaging challenges that will provide each child with an armory with which they can build their confidence and solve problems.

The courses will promote technical skills such as team building exercises, debating, and public speaking, as well as also nurturing the core competencies and characteristics (‘soft skills’) looked for by the top selective schools. The courses are also beneficial to children transitioning from primary school to secondary school and those going through the 11+ process.
