Divorce Mediation

Postby HeSays_SheSays » Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:57 am

Hello

Can anybody recommend a divorce mediation service in the area?

My solicitor has advised the next step is to find one and book a meeting and I’d prefer to find one locally if possible. I’m currently a SAHM with no income/financial independence so ideally one that won’t cost too much either.

Thanks

To be honest, we used one based in Magdalen Road and it was a total waste of money - around £450 per session and we could have worked out the finances etc ourselves. I don't feel they added anything in terms of what we didn't already know, and ours was an amicable and straightforward situation. I guess if you're very acrimonious it could be different... good luck!

Hi. Sorry you are going through divorce. It's a difficult time. Going through the same myself.
We used Caroline Willbourne. She was not cheap but very efficient so we didn't use many sessions. She really knew her stuff so short circuited a lot of angst and was impressively impartial. If you're interested I can dig out contact details - she was based at 1 garden court I think. Good luck.
