Osteopath recommendation

Postby AlexH11 » Thu Oct 13, 2016 7:47 am

Hi

Can anyone recommend a local osteopath please? Specifically one that specialises in post-pregnancy back ache / pain (if there is such a thing!)

Thanks!

I recommend James Dodd at the Back to Back clinic in Earlsfield.

Mine was an injury related back pain rather than post pregnancy but he made a world of difference as opposed to others I tried who either didn't help or - in one case - caused me even more pain.

I'll second James at Back to Back, he's amazing.

I went for an injury but I have a friend who went post pregnancy so I know he's good with that too.

At the risk of being repetitive, I'd recommend James Dodd and all the crew at Back to Back too.

James is muy simpático, and just very good at working out what your body is doing. He's sorted me out on a couple of occasions.

I would thoroughly recommend Polly Hand, a Chiropractor who is also a doula and has a special interest in pregnancy and post-pregnancy chiropractic treatment.

Hi

A friend of mine is an osteopath and can help. She lives in Clapham and works in both Clapham and Streatham and also does home visits. Might be handy if you have a baby.
Please call Grit Koenigs for advice on 02072231909. She has worked with pre and post natal women and back pain.

Good luck and hope you get better.

Hi there,

I'm sure you have already found someone to help.

However, if you haven't, I would recommend that you meet with Julia Finlay of Clapham Family Osteopath. Very experienced and friendly - her details are below;

Hope this introduction helps.

All best,
