Cape Cod USA recommendations

Postby actuallyadad » Mon Mar 02, 2015 2:41 pm

Hi
Just wanted to know if anybody had some hotel recommendations for a summer trip to Cape Cod, Boston and around. Hotel with pool and/or beach access would be ideal, but there don't seem to be that many (or that many which aren't $$$$!).

Also any tips on where to visit would be ace.

Thanks!

On the Cape you may prefer renting a cottage. Dennisport, Harwichport and Wellfleet are areas where you can walk to water and to town depending where you locate (which isn't that common the Cape). Chatham is a bigger town where you will have more hotel options, I hear good things about the Old Harbor Inn, but as you say everything will be pricey in summer because it's high high season.

The Cape is lovely though. I highly recommend it.

There is a place called buggy pit stop in Wembly. I have had my buggy fixed there and have seen the wonders they work on the valet service they offer. Quite expensive so for you to work out whether the cost is worth the additional sale price you could fetch if it looks pristine.

Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard is lovely if you're thinking of renting a house.
