Hello wise mums,
My 6-year old son has an interview at Kings College wimbledon in 2 weeks. It's a bit of a last minute punt for us, but would love to hear from anyone who's been through it. Any advice/practice/pointers on what they ask etc..

Hi Livieb,

I'm not replying as a wise mum but as an agency as we have local tutors who are familiar with the 7+ at Kings College, both exams and interviews. The following are some questions we have collated from our tutors from recent interviews their pupils have undergone for 7+ entry, I do hope they are helpful!

Tell me about your family?
What do you do in your spare time?
If you had £10 where would you go on holiday?
What are you reading at the moment?
Tell me about your current school?
What is your favourite subject?

Children are also usually asked to read a passage out loud and to read out a list of words suitable for their age group.

The interview is normally conducted by one teacher and the kids are brought in one at a time.
