Builder recommendation South West London?

Postby Wandsworth2017 » Mon Jan 30, 2017 6:52 am

Hello,

We are looking at doing an extension to our house and looking for building recommendations to quote. Would anyone have any recommendations of builders who cover Clapham / wandsworth?

Many thanks
Dorothy

Hi Dorothy,

We are a local renovations company who specialise in Kitchen Extensions and renovations. We also project manage every renovation, ensuring things are running to schedule, we can help with planning (if needed) we have an architect we work very closely with, and will guide you through the whole process. We have completed many kitchen extensions in the local area (take a look at our website for an example) and have clients who are always happy to let potential customers see our work.

If we can be of any help, please do feel free to contact us.

Hi there - my husband is a chartered quantity surveyor and co owner of runprojects.co.uk . They have successfully worked with many clients locally and if you search on nappy valley you will see some lovely references. Unlike many of their competitors they don't charge a percent fee for the project but charge a fixed fee based on numbers of hours worked which is generally better value for clients. They can deal with some or all of precontracts, planning/architects, pricing and tender process for their clients in addition to ongoing project management. If you don't require project management they have a large network of reputable builders which he would be happy to put you in touch with.
I'm sure my husband would be happy to discuss further if you are interested. His name is Andy and number is 07980544809. Good luck with your project. Thanks Sophie

I am currently about to finish my house with Jason Galvin from Galvin Projects and they have been great. I would highly recommend them. I had a great foreman, Alex, who made a big difference. Do contact me if you want any more info and best of luck, it is stressful... no matter how good the builders are.

Hi Dorothy

I'm sure you've been told this, but please be very careful on your planning. We often have clients come to us for a competitive quote when they realise they dont have electrics included in their builder's quote, and the builder really ramps up their prices for "add ons", such as sockets, lighting, electric underfloor heating, etc.

Let us know if we can help :)

Great references on Checkatrade.

My parents used Capitol Building Services back in 1998 for their conservatory build and associated changes.

Looks like they've got "a little" bigger since!

Their contact was Kevin Marchesi. He used to rock up for inspections in his C43! Hmm, maybe they charged too much haha

Hi Adriana,

i have a builder to recommend . His name is Rafal and his mobile is 07968144178. The quality of his work is good and the price is very competitive. Most of his work is through clients recommending him to friends/colleagues. He is also very responsive, flexible with variations and works with you throughout the build. He has also worked all over London. All the best with your project !!! Maria
