If you had 1 wish for your local area, what would it be?

Your local Transition Town Network invites you to an evening of lively debate and conversation with local people, parliamentary candidates, local councillors, businesses, scientists and young voices to explore how we would all like to see the future of our area.

Wednesday 18th March, 7pm

Looking forward to brilliant conversations with local people about the future of our local area.

Not sure about Annanbels wish list, but mine would def involve opening jo one of those 7 original cinemas we used to have in the area, and perhaps putting the Wurlitzer (yes its still there gathering dust in the basement) to good use in the Bingo Hall and offering a vintage cinema experience.

Equally I'd love there to be less pollution on the streets, as well as car safety issues by closing off the main roads for some of the weekend.

Oh and protecting our green spaces from the likes of crossrail (people power has hopefully put an end to that one for now!).
