Property Service Coordinator / Maintenance Assistant
(IMMEDIATE START)

Job Type: Minimum of 20 hours per week
Salary: £9.75 / hour
Job Location: London SW12
Immediate start

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join us for an initial 3-month term, starting immediately. For the right individual there will be the opportunity for a permanent position within our company at the end of the Term.

This role would suit a person living in Nappy Valley who wants to work locally in a role that requires lots of energy and initiative.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Support our cleaning contractors - Ensure they are supplied with linens and cleaning supplies as required
• Ensure our properties, are clean, equipped and always kept in a good order
• Plan and help carry out basic maintenance - Including window cleaning, gardening, jet washing exterior places, cleaning outside bin stores
• Manage inventory and order supplies
• Respond to tenants’ requests for assistance
• Meet and greet tenants - Provide them with keys, complete identity checks, brief them about the property

Requirements
Only apply only if you:
• Have a Driver's License
• Live within 3 miles of SW12
• Can work outside normal office hours
• Are fluent in English
• Can lift weight (think carrying a 20kg linen bags or helping to move a sofa!)
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Have household and handyman maintenance experience

You will have the maturity to work independently, be organised and used to thinking ahead to prevent problems before they occur.

You will be proactive and have meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of work.

You must have a strong work ethic with a "roll up the sleeves", "can do" attitude and will always tidy/clean a mess rather than step over it.

You need to be flexible and have a collaborative working style.

You should be keen to develop new skills and willing to learn and absorb technical expertise from other staff and third-party specialists.

We pay the London Living Wage as determined by the Living Wage Commission.
