About us!
Blackbird London is a local independent boutique specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke products.
We are reopening our boutique and launching an updated website and e-shop with an exciting new venture combining hand-made and hand-finished metal furniture, lighting and jewellery, offering custom options and made to order, and a hand-picked range of beautiful accessories for you and your home.
Who we need!
We are a growing business looking for a Manager with 2 years boutique retail experience. Must be outgoing and have strong and clear communication skills.
What we need doing!
This job involves running both the online business and shop, so experience of e-commerce platforms would be desirable:
-Manage and maintain the website
-Generate social media marketing, developing SEO strategies and Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns
-Create newsletters & contribute to blog
-Create press promotional materials
-Manage stock
-Create and maintain shop displays
-Co-ordinate customer commissions
WE ARE LOOKING FOR someone with a PROACTIVE, can-do approach to their work, with an understanding of independent retail and an interest in developing a business; this is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in developing a bespoke interiors and accessories brand.

Excellent customer centred approach
Clear strength and motivation for selling
Boutique / independent retail experience: 2 years
Social media marketing experience: 1 year
(ideally) E-commerce Systems eg Magento/Shopify: 1 year
