Re: Petition to Clean Up / Fix Clapham Common Playground West Side.

They actually did some work not long before Covid hit updating the dangerous and really worn parts of the park. This was when the track for scooters was included too. Hopefully the netting will be sorted around mushrooms as part of the maintenance regardless of whether or not it will be fully update...

Re: What skin care brand is pregnancy- safe to use during 1st trimester?

Hi - yes I did switch brands when pregnant. I mainly changed sunscreen that I wear every day as most other things are natural. (I like the green people brand and I think I found another french brand in whole foods). Other than that I used the same face creams but avoided the one with anything like r...

Re: clapham playground

I totally agree - it feels a bit squashed in the middle. And the line of vision when you have more than one child to look after is hard as a result especially when busier. I’m also disappointed that there aren’t barriers around the swings like there used to be. My son already got hit by a swing. I o...

Re: HELP- hair falling out in clumps!

Sorry to hear about your hair. It must be really distressing for you. The Philip Kingsley drops work best in conjunction with the tablets usually in case you’ve not tried then. You can also get your blood analysed to see if you have a deficiency which might be causing it and then bespoke drops from ...

Re: Other half embarrassing in drink

My husband has always drink a lot and liked one too many too. From what I’ve deduced it partly comes from childhood - wanting to be loved/going to boarding school too early. If you talk to him and gently ask him if he likes his behaviour/thinks it’s ok/what others think of him/how it makes you feel ...

Re: New Soft Play Centre

Am guessing it’s due to lack of venue as to why one hasn’t been opened around a Clapham Junction before. The area could definitely do with one!

Re: Mummy loosing hair at 40! Help

Really sorry to hear Carolyn. Hope it’s not too distressing for you. You can go see a trichologist - tHey specialise in hair and hair loss. They can help organise blood tests to see if there is any reason in particular - Eg low iron levels etc, post Partum/breast feeding I used to work with Philip K...

Re: is there any face cream that actually works?

What does everyone think of Jurlique? I came across it again at Stylist Live and got a couple of testers and thought it was wonderful! Especially love the rose scented range... Also bought an amazing gadget to smooth out my chicken neck and it really works. Although do wonder if it was purely a mark...

Microblading

Hi - I am looking for somewhere good value and good quality to get microblading done as I suffer from trichotillomania and barely have any eyebrows at the moment, due to recent stress. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations before I take the plunge as everywhere seems so fiendishly expensive, ...

Re: Hair today gone tomorrow....

Sorry to hear this. You can see a trichologist who focuses on the health of your hair - such as http://www.philipkingsley.co.uk. They can diagnose (following blood tests and consultation) any possible causes other than female pattern hair loss but also explain best methods for making the most of you...
