It's changed a lot over the years and I agree, support the long term vendors... we love Henessys and would prefer independent rather than chains... but that's a big ask with the rents!

For good trashy chic lit try Karen Swan (she used to live on Grandson Rd) and quite a few of her characters based on peeps in the area!! Good page turners.

Varies from year to year at Finton, quite a few use it as pre-prep knowing where their kids are going onto, and if a number go, then most move on. Lovely up to that point though and hope they can change it... but worth being aware. Hear great things about Hornsby!

Thank you, love both those ideas. We're all going to watch Peter Pan in Wimbledon tomorrow, so maybe not another panto (think relations with my sis-in-law might break down again!). I had a necklace restrung at Asquiths on Northcote rd... it was reasonable and necklace has been worn a number of times since and is fine.
