Re: Breast Augmentation

These replies are pretty disappointing. People don't seem to realise but there are fair few women around here with them and most of them look great. I have never had them myself but my friends who have do really look good, and none of them regret doing it. If you don't want implants you can now do f...

Commute Help From Thomas's Battersea to Battersea Rise

Hi! I was wondering if there is a nanny or au pair who drops their charges off at Thomas's battersea who might be able to help me take my daughter to nursery Battersea Rise from Thomas's on the odd day. I am obviously happy to pay. I am looking for someone who lives/works not far from the nursery so...

Re: Chimneybreast removal upstairs

I think that this depends a lot on what the situation is with the chimney breast and where it is in the house. If this is where you would do a side extension is could save you a ton of money to have their chimney breast removed. If this is a breast with a original fireplace vs one where the fireplac...

Re: Unfair on husband?

To be honest he sounds very emotionally abusive. I don't think that making plans with his mother is the problem; the problem is that he didn't talk to you about it until everything was done. Worse, he attacks you when you come to him to say you are hurt. I can certainly see why you don't feel valued...

My daughter is 19 months and due to start nursery school in September but before I put her in I would like to get her used to being left for a few hours. I am looking for a creche or a playgroup where I can leave her in the SW11 area. I have heard of Little Learners but they are booked until Septemb...

Re: Lent money to Brother-in-law - not paying back - help please

I was always told that you should never loan anything you are not happy to lose. If your husband is not on your side with trying collect, anything you do will cause resentment between you and him. I think the reality is, as annoying as it may be, you are going to have to write it off as a loss.

Re: Leasehold flat - loft not demised - advice please!

I wouldn't buy it, they can charge almost whatever they want for the loft. If you want clarity maybe ask the sellers to find out how much they want for the loft. I don't know what you are planning on doing but I wouldn't recommend buying any leasehold that you intend to do work on without first know...

Re: Talk to me about commuting from Balham

May I ask where your husband commutes to? Before the Southern fiasco, Dulwich used to be good for links to the City via London Bridge, possibly better than Balham / Clapham junction, and for links to Canary Wharf via the overground to Canada Water. Clapham Junction is probably beyond our budget, bu...
