Re: Private Healthcheck

I second Thrive. I’ve been going for peri menopausal issues amongst other family more general check ups and had just the best care from a very knowledgeable and experienced GP

Re: Underfloor heating

I’m thinking of installing the wet system in our bathroom.

Does anyone have any recommendations for who to use? Any ideas I rough costs for the typical bathroom size in the BTC houses?

Re: Which school to get in to St Paul / LCSG later?

Location is an important point. i know of someone that had offers at both St. Paul's and COL but went for Jags for a number of reasons- location being one. She was at Honeywell.

Re: Who can make me a kids teepee

I just took a lovely plain cream cotton one to the farah shop on Northcote road today. Needs an iron and the poles to go in it but it is really lovely.

We ordered some wooden branches for it but had to get rid of it whilst we renovated. Might still be there tomorrow?

Re: URGENT! Local architect recommendations needed

I don't know them I'm afraid. Their work looks interesting though. carter designs were reasonable - especially compared to our previous let down! Because of that we had limited budget too. It's worth reviewing the terms and conditions of payment with whomever you choose to go with so you don't get c...

Re: URGENT! Local architect recommendations needed

Unfortunately we met him only after appointing another that we ended up cutting loose due to various let downs.

Re: Home extensions

We recently used Carter Designs, https://www.carter-designs.com for our kitchen extension. We switched to them after having used another firm who were shockingly bad. Paul has been nothing short of amazing. He's full of ideas, has great attention to detail and knows both the very high end market thr...

Re: Did you get your first choice 2016 primary school?

It does feel like the issue of the area between broomwood and nightingale, quite rightly called a "no mans land" by another user, needs addressing somehow. It doesn't seem right that parents in this grid are facing a schlep beyond Honeywell and possibly even Belleville to the next closest ...
