Re: Rayne House Development Application - Sudbrooke Road

Broomwood school own the Rayne House property on Sudbrooke. They are the applicant on the planning application (see 'Sir Malcolm Colquhoun' as the named applicant).

Re: Gardener / Carpenter recommendation for garden wall extension

Hi there
I can recommend https://www.northcotefencing.com/
they repaired a fence next to us that had fallen over - they are specialists, local, the price was very reasonable and they were quite quick.

Re: Recommended Rental Agent for Battersea/Clapham?

If you are still looking, I would recommend contacting Paul at Moveli. They are now doing rentals as well as sales. Really great service, down to earth approach, highly experienced, lives in the area so really knows it well. Also because they don't have any retail space they are more competitively p...

Re: House sale - estate agent recommendations

Another recommendation for Paul at Moveli. Really great service, down to earth approach, highly experienced, lives in the area so really knows it well. Also because they don't have any retail space they are more competitively priced that other local agents. Can't recommend him highly enough! https:/...

Re: SW11 mugged at knifepoint in front of our 3 kids

Just wanted to add support to the original OP and hope that he and the children will recover from such a horrendous experience as soon as possible. I was walking past there today and thinking what an unlikely place for something like that to happen and situation seems to be getting worse, reading ot...

Re: Not happy families at the Bolingbroke on Northcote

Thanks for the support JGB (and dudette and balhambloke too). I didn't think I was being angry or vindictive either - but thought that NVHusband's post was, for some odd reason... I haven't given Bolingbroke a second chance yet - but will let you know once I have. Sorry to hear you had a bad time th...

Re: Not happy families at the Bolingbroke on Northcote

Thanks Flowermummy - I'm glad you found the post useful - and I'm also glad to hear that many others have had good experiences of the Bolingbroke. In this one instance, I didn't, and wanted to share my experience of that on this forum - (as well as emailing them separately, FYI NVHusband) just like ...

Re: Not happy families at the Bolingbroke on Northcote

Hi K1999 I agree - my fault for not seeing it - my bad. My point is why not be just a tad more upfront about it on their website. That was the problem. What's the harm in being more transparent and clear if that's their policy? I don't care if they don't want under 18s after 8pm - just make it clear...

Re: Not happy families at the Bolingbroke on Northcote

And nothing here on their webpage about their 8pm/under 18's policy either....in fact quite the opposite - presents itself and very child-friendly!

Re: Childfriendly Restaurant

I can HIGHLY recommend Numero Uno on Northcote Road - we took my 14 year old niece there on friday night (at very short notice having been turned away from an establishment booking down the road). The welcome was lovely, we had a lovely big round table for the 6 of us, the food fantastic and service...
