Re: Did you see anything?

Wow, that's so upsetting to hear about. What kind of person would do that to a small child?

I would make a phone call, it seems worth it. You have the backing of the community, we are all here to look out for each other

Staircase runner

Hello Looking for recommendations, pls. We need a runner on our staircase. The kids are still small, so I don't at this point need anything too fancy/expensive. Let me know if you can recommend a well-priced staircase runner company, with a good choice of colours and patterns (so not asking for much...

After school nanny - Questions regarding pay

Hey there Am about to employ my first after school nanny (having always had full time nannies). Most of them seem to want at least 20 hours. Do you pay your ASN 52 weeks per year (like you would a full time one) or only the days/hours that she actually works? Secondly, is it still the employer, who ...

Re: Only afford to send one to private school

I would also assume that you'd send the 'struggling' sibling to the private school and the confident (smart?) one to state ; ) It would be great to know your reasons why. Looking at friends and family, it's so hard to say why one person 'fails' and one flourishes. Being in an environment where you h...

Coding/robotics/game development Half term camps

Hello

Anyone aware of a coding/robotics/kudo/game development camp in Balham/Clapham/(even Streatham) area, for an 8-year old.

I'm aware of Geeky kids in Raynes Park, and one in Dulwich, but it's just a little too far to go to from SW12

Thanks in advance

Re: Adult braces

I used SW4 Dental https://www.dentistsw4.com/contact.php and still super happy with the results - 10 years later. Best money I've spent on myself ; )

Re: State kids going private. Parents in the PTA?

Same here. That shouldn't matter

Hopefully they have been hired into 'noted positions in PTA' for their skills and willingness to help out - not on what their future plans may or may not be..

Re: Awful gym moment

Just want to echo what a lot of the other posters have already said: You can't change him and his behaviour (and even speaking to the staff, not sure why that would help), but you can change your reactions and feelings about what happened. I can only imagine how hurtful it must have come across. Giv...
