three duvets

Does anyone know of anywhere (shelters, etc.) that might want three feather duvets (two queen size, one twin bed size)? Many shelters and similar don't want them but I'd like to try to find someone who could genuinely use them before I throw them out. They are used but in pretty good shape, with a f...

Re: US tax return

We've used a US tax guy for about 20 years, both while here in the UK and when I moved from Singapore back to the US before moving here. He is ex-EY I think and has done a good job and is easy to deal with. He's based in NY. Paul Horvath is his name and I can send his contact information if you'd li...

Re: Children's Audio CD Suggestions for Car Journeys Please!

You'll need to download it because I don't think there is a CD but one of the best children's songs "albums" we have is Pete Seegar's Children's Concert at Town Hall. He does a bit of storytelling throughout and the songs are great. It's also really long...:) The Balham library has lots of...

I am not looking for a cleaning woman, but just a place to get ironing done - shirts and sheets, etc. Thanks very ...

Re: Paediatrician/baby

Professor Gideon Lack at the Portland might be a good one to try (he works on the NHS too, but it is probably a long wait). He is my daughter's allergist and I imagine he looks at the entire range of reflux/intolerance reactions too. He's very practical, as well.

Re: cleaning curtains and carpets

Hi Annabel. Any luck? I just want to get this in the calendar, though no huge rush. It would be good to know if I should keep looking for other options. Thank you!

Re: cleaning curtains and carpets

Thanks. I've tried to reach him a few times over the past few years with zero luck each time and it got pretty frustrating. Maybe too popular! :)
