We have just used Millie Pilkington and we're thrilled with the results. Worth having a look at her website. She photographed the royal wedding but her pricing was competitive and very pleased with the results indeed.

Dear Mums,
My name is Ania, mum of beautiful boy and profesional photographer.
On daily basis I work as Nanny, I look after two amazing little girls (2 and 4yrs)
My dream is to shoot families, pregnant women, children, party`s.. I love what I do. I feel very lucky to be able to see beauty everywhere I go, in every person I approach.
I love natural light filled, stylish photos. Finding beautiful light can transform one scene into something completely different. Something quite magical.
Knowing how to get the most out of each family and when exactly to press the shutter in all the chaos is a huge part of my style.
I’m in it for the emotions, the expressions and the natural beauty of the moment.
As you know no two families are the same, and my wish is for your uniqueness to shine through in your family photos. So, while I may begin my family photo sessions with a ‘warm up’; in the end, you guys are so comfortable I just have to capture the action as it unfolds around me
I want to capture your story, with you in it!

Weekend 19-20 August I offer half hour photo-shoot for only £59
For more details go to my Facebook Page

Hope to hear from you
Ania

IanMcglasham.com is probably the best photographer I've had experience with. Amazing shots and absolutely lovely with children and the family!

I would highly recommend GK London photo studio based in Kensington & Chelsea. Photographers were simply AMAZING! They really are more than photographers. From the beginning through to the end they offered endless support, advice and guidance. On the day itself we felt in safe hands and it was like having friends there with you ! There experience and professionalism shines through, allowing you to relax and have the best day of your lives ! We got our first round of photos through today and couldn’t be more happier with the results, they are seriously talented and genuinely love what they do ! If you’re thinking about booking them for your wedding , DO IT!!! You won’t be disappointed ! They have captured memories we will cherish forever.

Their website is:

It worth checking them out! All the best!

Check out Ian, he came to our place and did our session, a nice frame and CD of images. He's based locally, I think. www.londonmaternityphotography.co.uk

My husband and I and our four children went to Venture in Wandsworth last year and although the photos were good the after sales was awful.

On the recommendation of two of my friends last weekend we went to a stall on Nortcote Road with the kids and the photos the guy took there were just fantastic, I think it was the owner who took the pictures and he was great with the children. It is Mike Anderson photography, corner of Nortcote and Bennerley.

I want to recommend myself

I am a mum of a toddler too and know how children work, so I have a friendly approach, I take the most natural pictures and the main thing is I like the family to have a good relaxed time too.
I will come to the venue of your choice, your home a park a playground.
My packages are very economical and you get the CD with all pictures included and I do not charge any extra for this. You can then share the pictures with friends and family and have more prints.
Visit my webpage or blog please and you will find my work and the testimonials from my clients.
Thanks

My friend Anna McCarthy is a fabulous children's photographer, plus she has a great way with children, whatever age. Check out her website www.annamccarthy.com and go to the family section. She's also very good at making pregnant women look beautiful (no veins in sight!).

Hi, I agree with Annabel. Heidi Adnum is a great children's/family photographer. We have been using her since our little one was 1 week old (have had 5 sessions now). We have so many great photos, plus the price is really reasonable (she gives you a cd of the pics and doesn't force you to buy the pictures). I've already booked her to take photos at my daughter's 2nd birthday party, but we've had sessions at our house and at the park.

I've been recommending Heidi to everyone who listens as I am so pleased with the pics. Plus, she's super nice and friendly!

I've made lots of nice collages and calendars on Photobox and Snapfish for us and the grandparents. I'm attaching one of the pics from our most recent photo shoot.

Hello,

I'm a local photographer. I do portraits for people of all ages. Take a look at some examples of my work on www.tikkismikkis.co.uk.

I'm based in Balham but can come and take pictures in your home, the park or another location that you would like.

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic photographer, very natural shots. Has taken pics of lots of kids in our area (esp babies and toddlers). Pricing is very competitive and pics are as good, if not better, than any others I have seen.
All my friends go back to him time and time again.
