I have heard nothing

The schools that used to host it said they were stopping it (costs, health and safety etc make it too difficult and expensive to run)

I know this is an old post, but does anyone know if this is on this year?

Yes that's where I usually stand with the kids - across the road. I am not looking to gain entrance - just wanting to know the time - anyone? I believe its between 6:30-8:30 but I wanted to know the exact timing if possible? I could do with staying in in the warmth - its for my kids enjoyment. Thank you in advance

So not true ! The schools pay a huge amount for Fireworks so they should be able to sell or give tickets to their students . There are plenty of ways of seeing the fireworks without standing on the field . You may be aware ms sourpuss that there is a common 3 get away and plenty of pavement

The question was what *time* the fireworks start, any ideas?

If someone could confirm the date and time that would be great.

If you do not have a child at those schools I don’t think you will gain entrance but don’t despair the restaurants across from the fields have wonderful views . Pizza Express is full usually - the one and only night of the year .

Thank you so much nannyS for your confirmation of the fireworks being postponed until today. However weather doesn't look too good today either!
