I'm looking for information about High View primary. How do kids get on there, academically and socially?

I'd love some views from anyone whose kids are there, or have been there, or from people who have chosen not to send their kids there - why not? Which secondaries do children go on to?

I know league table don't necessarily tell you much, but my (possibly incorrect) reading of the latest league tables seem to put High View higher than Belleville so I'm not quite sure why Belleville gets so much said about it and High View isn't talked about at all. Any ideas? I understand that Belleville gets 'Outstanding' from OFSTED, while HV is only 'Good' - but I don't understand why, or how concerned I should be about the difference.

Is it a good school that you'd be happy to send your kids to or should we be preparing to bankrupt ourselves and enter the private system.

We looked at High View. When I visited it seemed to be a very happy school and the kids did well espacially given the 'entry attainment level' of some of them.
We ended up with a school closer to us - we really wanted our son to feel that he had local friends from school.
