Back in December Mr NVN joined a gym.
And in March he actually started going.
He now bores tells anyone who’ll listen all about his fitness routine and this weekend it was my visiting brother-in-law’s turn.
“What’s your favourite EXERCISE machine?” asked our guest.
I could see my husband thinking hard, trying to come up with a suitably Iron Man themed response but he needn’t have bothered.
My own son stepped up to the plate.
“The vending machine,” he chipped in before disappearing upstairs, leaving behind a gaggle of open mouthed adults and me trying to work out if I could simultaneously tell him off for being rude whilst admiring his quick thinking.
