Re: Reckless driver in Stormont Road / Clapham Northside

Agree with @gemima. Contribute constructively Dicky D or maybe not at all? They aren't illegal and have every right to be on the road.  You and Gemima I would suggest need to wake up ! Transporting kids around in Cargo Bikes is A) potentially very Dangerous and B) EXTREMELY STUPID!. The last thing ...

Re: SW11 car fines from a local cyclist's camera

I will get straight to the point. I am so ANGRY at the attitude you take together with your viewpoints. You seem to take a degree of pleasure in highlighting the fate of the Range Rover driver, appalling! If I have dashcam footage of a cyclist jumping a red light or proceeding to cross during the pe...

Re: SW11 car fines from a local cyclist's camera

I have to admit at being more than just incensed by this post. I would certainly challenge any NOP that I received that was taken by a cyclist. I am also horrified that the Met Police seem to ENCOURAGE this activity by cyclists by providing a portal for them to upload videos/photos. What gives you t...

Re: How can I get my husband to give up smoking?

About 20 years ago I attended an Alan Carr course at Raynes Park having been a cigarette smoker for more decades than I cared to remember. After a four hour session, I walked away and have never smoked another cigarette since. Very clever technique as they concentrate on the 'benefits' of not smokin...

Re: Clapham burglary with no sign of entry

I am sorry to hear what has happened to you. Do you have an alarm system? If not, would you now consider having one installed? I am not selling alarm systems, just think they are a good idea... especially monitored systems and those that allow one to alarm potential 'vunerable' areas at night time.

Re: Next door vegan neighbours objecting to us barbecuing

Dudette -  yes you really do need to get a life. As for a recipe for humanity, in this instance probably Live and Let Live is more than appropirate!

Re: Next door vegan neighbours objecting to us barbecuing

As I read your post I think my blood pressure increased! How utterly stupid and pathetic for these people to request you to stop BBQ-ing. As for the likes of Dudette, you need to GET A LIFE and let others get on with theirs! It seems that this is part of your way of life so you carry on BBQ-ing for ...

Re: Marsha de Cordova speaks out after media mistake her for two other black MPs

This all sounds to me like an attack of the 'cos I'ze is Black syndrome'. Regardless of colour there are many
'lookalikes' out there and people make mistakes so stop making a mountain out of a mole hill and get on with the job that your constituents expect you to do and stop all this trivia!

Re: Brissi closing today on Northcote Road

Sloaney Donkey.... my heart bleeds....... Mortgage.... consider downsizing. There are some very good state schools around here. Whilst one cannot guarantee the weather but Devon and Cornwall have some lovely areas for holidays. PCP Car Finance is a way for people to 'afford' top of the range cars......

Re: In-laws voted leave. They've removed my children's freedom of movement and I can't cope with seeing them any longer.

I will not beat around the bush but how utterly pathetic and selfish of you GuyD73. Your in-laws are perfectly entitled to their view point on Brexit, as indeed everyone is..... it's called democracy. Who are you to punish them for their views? You mention the protection of our mental health..... it...

Re: Lent money to Brother-in-law - not paying back - help please

This is indeed a very tricky situation and I sympathise with you. Having had similar situations myself although not with relatives but with people who purported to be 'friends'. As has already been suggested, the best solution would be to come to an agreement with your brother in law to make repayme...

Re: Please sign this petition to have a town hall Q & A with Jane Ellison MP

I am sure that Jane Elleson has far more important matters to deal with than to waste time on more bleating Remainers! Brexit is going to happen... get used to it and get a life!
