Re: Interior Designer recommendation?

Hello,
Where do you live? I have a brilliant interior designer friend local to Clapham who can offer help with full house rennovations, a single room, or just consulting on an hourly basis - check out her website www.emilyrennie.com

Re: Solar panels for residential house

@chorister sadly I think it's a catch 22 - until they become more cost effective, people can't afford to put them in and with London being quite transient and many people moving (as in our case) it makes it a non starter as they take 20 years to pay themselves back. We installed them it entirely for...

Re: Solar panels for residential house

We installed solar panels in our previous house. The outlay was quite expensive and we moved after 6 years so really did not see the full benefit, but if you are staying-put then that's a different matter. We had a Tesla storage battery, which in itself wasn't a huge cost, but the panels and the ins...

Re: Bathroom refit

We used a local Clapham guy - Marek - who put in 2 bathrooms for us and has also put in bathrooms for various friends. Highly recommend. 07850813695

Re: Small business networking in Tooting Bec, February meet-up

Are you planning any day time meeting ups? I'd love to go, but evenings are tricky as my husband gets home from work after 8pm usually. Thanks

Re: Advice on how to transfer out of independent school into state

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time. My best friend has been going through a very similar situation and having to consider similar options for her children, although not in London. Luckily in London families move out regularly so school places do become available. It might be worth contacting ...

Re: Photographer for 40th Birthday Party?

What can you see yourself doing with the images afterwards and what kind of pics do you want from the event - do you want a photo montage, or a physical book to look? Do you want some group shots of your friends and couples that were there or funny, dressed up shots from the Photo Booth? Do you thin...

Disney Land Paris trip

We are thinking of taking the kids to Disney Land Paris for a few days. The kids are finally tall enough to go on all the rides! Has anyone been and which of the hotels would you recommend or avoid? There seems a lot to do there, so would a 2 day pass cover most ground or would a 3 day pass be bette...

Re: Looking for daycare recommendations in Clapham

You will need to take into consideration where you will live and the proximity to the nursery/ease to get to and from work to drop and collect. I used to work in Oval and the nursery was on my way to work which, although wasn't why we initially chose it, was a big help and the other nursery we were ...
