Hi, yes that's me at Village Butchers, my members collect on a Friday or Saturday, and it's such a lovely family business with great produce, so I'd encourage any Southfields locals to support them. I also have another collection point at Eclectic coffee on Garratt lane in Earlsfield if that might be closer to you. Do give me a ring if you have any questions. For any Wimbledon, Putney or Battersea dwellers reading this, our other 10 hubs can be found on the link below.

Hi Robin,

Fancy meeting you here! Haha!

Thanks for your kind comments. And glad you're getting as addicted to Wimbledon Farmers Market as I am!

Thanks again!
Aaron

Aaron - excellent. May be we will see you at WFM on Saturday. We're bringing Liz B to introduce her to it.

Meanwhile - memo to self. Don't invite Sophie and Aaron to dinner, we couldn't compete!!

ROBIN

Great blog Aaron, I've just read a fair bit and as a fellow Wandsworth-ite, look forward to your future missives on eating out. I run a very small, local fish box scheme called Faircatch that might interest you.
Best, Guy

Do you like food? If so, you may like my local food-blog - 1 Dish 4 The Road:

https://www.1dish4theroad.com

For me, food isn’t just a combination of carbs, fats, and proteins on a plate, it’s a reflection of ourselves, our families, our communities, our cultures, our economics, our politics, our environment. There’s a story behind every dish we eat, and my blog – 1 Dish 4 The Road – explores this, dish by dish.

This blog has evolved over time, but have discovered that I most enjoy fusing food-writing with various other genres. But whether I’m using fiction, poetry, travel or humour – or whether I’m reflecting on religion, diversity, politics or ecology – food remains firmly at the heart of this blog.

I live in London, so this great city is my natural foodscape, from its cafes and restaurants, to its markets and stores. And as a Wandsworth-ite, many of my posts are based about local places, such as Wimbledon Farmers Market as well as restaurant reviews of Chez Bruce, Plot Kitchen, Nanban, Smoke & Salt, etc.. I've also started a supper-club too, the topic of my most recent blog-post.

So if you're looking to find out local places to eat, or just interested in food, feel free to have a read!

Many thanks,
Aaron
