That’s a pretty fatuous comment but much of what you say on here is a little unhinged rooting4tooting, however I do appreciate you giving my post more visibility. The wafer thin margin for leave was achieved :D with an unprecedented degree of lying, even the architects of the campaign have admitted the £350m was a lie and the reason leave won. If we do get a final say, remain will prevail . Bring it on :D

Guy, being that remoaners lost, to increase their margin they would lose by a greater percentage. Good observation and a most likely outcome.
I suggest that those who want to stay in the EU, stay in the EU...

I know Tootsweep, mental isn't it? All good though, Bring it on! If it does happen, it gives many of us an opportunity to try and persuade family who may have voted the other way (my in-laws did), to think again about the choices they are making on behalf of their grand-children. I didn't really bother first time round because it seemed inconceivable it would even be close but this time I won't be taking any chances.

Any passionate remainers and campaigners reading this, it's important to direct our energy effectively. A proportion of the leave vote won't change their minds whatever reality they're presented with, focus on the ones who genuinely thought the NHS would get £350m/week and Turkey was imminently joining the EU and now feel a bit mugged. The central message is there's no shame in having been lied to.

FWIW I think, non-voters last time will come out strongly to remain, a few leavers will switch and the demographic shift will be adequate to secure a much greater margin for remain.

Is anyone reading this going with their kids? It would be nice to get a bunch of us, maybe get together beforehand a make a banner to represent our Battersea/Wandsworth hood...

Any arty/crafty types among you up for that. Happy Weekend everyone!

Thank you Windmill, hope you had a great time with your family and Happy New Year. :D
Oh PS, you’re plumbing new depths – you’re perfectly entitled to your opinion, and to express it on here, what you’re not entitled to do is make repeated unwarranted, unprovoked and unpleasant attacks on people. I am not bullying or demonising anyone and most sensible people reading this thread will see the truth of that - attempting to paint yourself as a victim as you are, is rather pitiful.
And this is important, stop mentioning my family, not at all. I’m not happy about it and will see what admin’s view is if you persist. I posted a pic because we were AT A MARCH. However, I am very grateful to you for ‘challenging’ me because the post is nearly at the top of the most read list, so thank you, perhaps we can keep it there until the march in June. ;)
Oh and PS, you seem to have conveniently ignored a para in my post about WHO YOU ARE! If you are going to make unprovoked attacks on people on here then, in a community like this, we at least have the right to know who you are, no?
So are you prepared to reveal yourself? I doubt it, though to be honest, after some of the stuff you’ve put on here I’d be ashamed and embarrassed to reveal my identity too - so what is it? transparency or concealment?

Thanks Newbie 38, will pm you my number and thanks Phil, I'd like to find out more of your thoughts when you have a sec, will come back to you, would you be happy to be interviewed for a radio doc?

Hope everyone wasn't too traumatised going back to work today, best wises to you all for 2018. Pic attached is the one I sent my fam this Xmas, hope it makes you smile on this somewhat miserable, rainy day :D xxx

What is staggering about the Brexit dilemma is that even if it is reversed, there is a vast chasm that has opened between the English and expat residents/dual nationalities. It will take ages to put the genie back in the bottle. Expats are generally shocked that the English attribute to themselves London's rise to the most prominent global city, where expats largely believe that the rule of law, English language, time zone, ability for the super wealthy to launder money/pay no taxes and the increased international populace should receive far greater attribution. Expats look at post Brexit London as incredibly parochial, where their minority status is sneered at, independent of how one voted. Sorry chaps. Pip pip.

Guy,

Keep posting. I always enjoy reading your post. Also out of interest, would you be willing to share the potential positives/negatives of Brexit in your business line. I still feel we do not have enough information on the impact of Brexit on small business and will be very interested to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Many thanks
