Can I ‘outsource’ the puberty/s*x chat? Weight loss resistant: help! I’m giving up “Between The Commons

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

It was a perfect storm of deliveries.

A YODEL van arrived at the same time as a DPD delivery driver just as a neighbour brought round a parcel we’d ‘missed’.

My family made short shrift of the packaging and soon the living room resembled a cardboard shredding plant as everyone pored over their new purchases.

Mr NVN was sporting a new ski jacket, my daughter a pair of salopettes and my sister-in-law holding a blouse up to the mirror. My very young niece appeared to be dressed as a bat but seeing as Halloween was months ago, and I was pretty sure that costume was from the dressing up box, I had no idea why.

“I think it may need a plain bra,” said my mother, checking out the blouse, but my daughter misheard.

“Do they really do them for men?” she asked, “I never knew that.”

She then paused before looking Mr NVN up and down, “I’m not sure he really needs one”
