Welcome to your weekly What’s On activity guide from NappyValleyNet!

Zip-a-dee-do-dah, zip-a-dee-ay, my oh my what a wonderful few days of sunshine.  It’s not just flowers, trees and all things green that flourish in the warmth and blue skies, we do too.  Must add water of course, but then life feels easier, lighter and brighter. I’m sure I’m not the only one loving this sneak peak into life in the Med. Yes, work and school go on and our corner of London might not be quite Ibiza, but there’s plenty of outdoor and neighbourhood fun to be had while we try to live the dream (read more).

It’s The Abbeville Fete on Saturday!  Now in its 21st year, it’s raising money again for five local causes and celebrates London’s diversity and community spirit.  You’ll find more than 80 stalls, a street BBQ and bar, a Kids’ Zone, a Wild West fancy dress parade (yeee-hah!), live music, dog beauty pageant and more.  Dig out your Stetson and head on over! (read more)

It’s the Beatrix Potter School Summer Fair on Saturday too with lots of fun and games, lovely raffle prizes and even a vintage clothes stall (read more).

Summer skiing anyone?!  Take a day trip out of town for a go on a revolutionary revolving ski slope with Ski Famille, or just grab a toboggan and go wwweeeeee all the way down! (read more)

It’s the Ninja Netball Festival over in Twickenham on Saturday raising funds to help fight childhood cancer.  Matches on court and bouncy castle, face-painting and plenty of other family fun.  Go show ’em how it’s done, girls! (read more)

Join SW Yoga’s Bikini Blitz for seven consecutive days, focus on legs, bums and tums as well as banishing bad foods, and you’ll be all set for summer! (read more).

Sensacional at the Unicorn Theatre sounds just that!  Let your toddlers zip on their white suits and become part of a light and sound show and a digital world of ladybirds, shapes, squiggles and squarks… (read more).

The BE.Dance Summer Show is on Sunday at the New Wimbledon Theatre, showcasing their dancers from 4 up to 18.  Street, lyrical, tap and musical theatre – sounds like you’ll be dancing in the aisles (read more).

Next week sees the start of Banana Cabaret’s Balham Comedy Festival, now in its sixth glorious year!  There’s a dazzling array of top comedy talent – Stephen K Amos, Ed Byrne and Sara Pasco to name just a few.  Wend your way SW12-bound for some merriment and laughter (read more). 

The Southwest Songbirds will be in full voice at St Andrew’s Church on Garratt Lane in early July raising money for charity with music from Adele, Michael Jackson, West Side Story and South Pacific.  Pack a picnic for the interval! (read more)

Camp Suisse Session One gets underway at the beginning of July, with Sessions Two, Three and Four in hot pursuit!  You’re not too late to give your 7 – 17 year olds the summer of their lives in the Swiss Alps! (read more)
